Brize Norton, Carterton

In 2020, Oxford & Cambridge through Gentian acquired a mixed-use site forming the retail center of the Bloor Homes Brize Meadow development in Brize Norton. This development is part of a larger project featuring 750 houses and apartments near the RAF's largest airforce base.

Phase one of the project, comprising a 7,000 sq ft convenience store and retail terrace for Mid Counties Co-op, received planning permission in December 2021. Construction was completed on November 25, 2022.

Phase two, which includes a Greggs drive-thru, obtained planning permission in July 2022. Construction is currently underway, with the steel frame in place. Practical completion is expected in Summer 2023.

As part of this development, Oxford & Cambridge is also constructing six EV charging spaces for Instavolt. Additionally, we are providing 40 car parking spaces for the new primary school and local center adjacent to the site.
