From May 2019 to March 2020, Oxford & Cambridge through Gentian acquired a development site with planning permission for a 500 sqm (5,385 sq ft) convenience retail store and 35 parking spaces. We secured a pre-let agreement with Sainsbury's, and despite construction delays caused by Covid-19, we handed over the completed building to Sainsbury's in August 2020. The store successfully opened for business on 18th October. In early 2020, this development was sold to a client of Mason Owen UK, marking another successful venture for Oxford & Cambridge.
